What is meant by the Paleo diet?
The Paleo diet is a diet that was common in the Paleolithic era. For this reason it is also called the Stone Age diet and is based on the foods available at the time.
Are you wondering why? The Paleo diet assumes that the body has not changed since the Stone Age and that the original foods are particularly healthy.
But what foods are on the table now?
Everything that people hunted, fished, collected and picked in the Stone Age is served on the table. In the hunter-gatherer era, however, there was neither agriculture nor livestock breeding. For this reason, the Paleo diet excludes all industrially produced foods as well as dairy and grain products.
But food quality also plays a big role in the Paleo diet. Because here, particular emphasis is placed on organic products and high-quality meat.

What is the difference between Paleo and Primal?
The principle of the primal diet is also based on eating natural foods like in the Stone Age. The rule is that what can be eaten raw should also be consumed raw. The Primal Diet also allows almost no industrially processed foods or grain products purchased from agriculture.
But what is the difference to Paleo? Dairy products are allowed at Primal, but only from the most natural farming possible, i.e. pasture-raised.
