What is Whey Protein?
Whey, German for "cheese water," is obtained as a byproduct in cheese production. It is a protein-rich liquid that naturally separates from the cheese and is drained off.
Depending on the desired protein content, other components such as fat and carbohydrates are removed.
Protero Protein72 is therefore less processed than a higher-percentage protein powder. The high-quality fatty acids from pasture milk are primarily preserved before the whey is spray-dried.
What is whey protein good for?
A protein supplier should not and may not answer this question for you, except for the legally permitted statement:
"Proteins contribute to the maintenance of muscle mass."
Why doesn't it dissolve in water, and certainly not in a shaker?
This protein is for absolute purists who do not even want natural sunflower lecithin on the ingredient list. However, this is necessary to make a spray-dried whey protein soluble.
Unlike the few absolutely pure whey proteins made from only one ingredient, it can still be easily made into a protein shake with a hand blender in milk or with other ingredients in a mixer.
Does it still contain phospholipids?
Absolutely. At least 12g per 100g of powder are due to phospholipids.
